Our Facilities
Safe and stimulating…
Ashfield House provides an environment that is safe and stimulating. The building is equipped with CCTV, boundary and inner fencing ensuring children can play safely.
Entry to the building is by security fob which will only allow users into designated areas within the nursery.
Play & learn
Inside & out…
Inside we have utilised the supply and design service offered by the high quality children’s furniture manufacturer, Community Playthings to help us design and create an environment that appeals to children, to encourage them to engage in a variety of activities.
Outside is a spacious, welcoming environment, suited for all weathers: we have both astro-turfed grassy areas and an all-weather hard surface, so your children can play outdoors all year round. We have planters to encourage your child to have a go at planting, a mud kitchen for creating all sorts of delights, a mini fort at Stewart Close and a pirate ship at Norman Lane.
Our Outside Space
Sensory Room…
One area we are especially proud of is our Sensory Room which is a special peaceful place that has a range of stimulating equipment to provide an environment that enhances both learning and relaxation for babies and young children.
Our bubble tube is a captivating visual experience for children, and our galaxy star projector throws out a myriad of lights which the children will enjoy tracking as they listen to relaxing music.
Inside the Sensory Room
Every last detail…
Our attention to detail extends even to the toilets, which must be seen to be appreciated…. with all facilities attractively designed to appeal to children with traffic light colour-coded teddy-bear door locks and fun foam dispensers for washing hands.
